The dress arrived after my event. It’s unclear why the retailer asks for event date when the order is placed, but did not correspond with me to indicate whether or not the dress would arrive in time. The dress is beautiful. However, it seems to run small in the bodice. I ordered a size 10 but was unable to zip the dress. My back was too broad for a size 10 in this dress. However, the dress I wore to my event was a size 8, and it fit perfectly. In summary, the top part of the dress seems to run small if you are a medium or larger size woman with broad shoulders, back, and or large breasts. It may be beneficial to order a size bigger than your normal size and have it tailored if needed for a small waist. Secondly, order at least 4 weeks before your event date to ensure timely delivery. I loved the dress but am disappointed that it was delivered too late and that I couldn’t fit it so I can’t wear it anywhere.
