Size 10 worked for 5'6" / 155 lbs with room to sit, and the waist ruching sits right at the narrowest part instead of up under the bust like so many of these. Wore it to a daytime wedding and never once adjusted it.
Shipping beat the estimate,quoted fourteen days, arrived in nine,but it came folded into the smallest bag possible. Chiffon had hard crease lines down the whole skirt. Twenty minutes with a steamer on low and you'd never know.
Fair warning on the pale parts of the print: the lighter panels go slightly translucent in direct sun. Nude seamless underneath is a must, and I'd skip it for an outdoor ceremony at noon. Under evening or indoor light it's completely fine.
Print placement is random, fair warning. Mine has one giant bloom square across the left hip, which honestly looks fine, but if you're particular about where the flowers land, don't expect the listing photo. Color is more slate blue-gray than the bright blue on my screen.
Ruching across the waistband is doing real work here,smoothed out my midsection with zero shapewear, and I'm three months postpartum. Skirt hangs from there in a way that skips right over the hips, which is where I usually have trouble.
Ordered a size 14 first based on my usual and it swam through the waist, so the cut runs generous up top. Exchange took nine days end to end with a prepaid label and no photos asked for. Size 12 was the right call in the end.
V-neck is deeper than it looked on the model,fine for me at 38D, but anyone smaller will want a pin or a cami. Sheer short sleeves are genuinely sheer, which I didn't mind for a garden party, just not what I'd call modest.
Customer service answered at 7am their time when I asked whether the background was closer to gray or blue, and someone sent a photo of the fabric next to a plain white sheet. That's the kind of thing that makes me order again.
Washing it was the real test,hand washed cold, hung to dry, and the print didn't bleed or fade at all, which I half expected with those big white blooms. Chiffon kept its drape too, no stiffness, no pilling. Holding up better than I thought it would.
Gift for my mom,5'3", 145 lbs, ordered a size 6 per the seller's chart and it fit everywhere but the length, needing about three inches off. She's had it on twice since and says the chiffon doesn't wrinkle the way her lined dresses do.
