Back shoulder width

Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other across your back.

Sleeve length

Measure from the shoulder seam to the wrist with your arm relaxed at your side.

Arm circumference

Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm. Leave enough ease for comfortable movement.

How to measure for a formal dress

  1. Use a soft measuring tape and ask someone to help for the most accurate result.
  2. Stand straight with your arms relaxed and your feet together.
  3. Measure over lightweight clothing or the undergarments you plan to wear.
  4. Keep the tape level and close to the body without pulling tight.
  5. Write down bust, waist, hips, and hollow to floor before comparing with the size chart.
For bridal party orders, ask everyone to measure on the same day and use the same unit. This helps keep sizing decisions consistent across the group.

Writing this to help anyone else! Took a bit to ship and deliver, but probably because I ordered my dress a month before prom so i’d imagine lots of orders are going on. besides that, the dress looks like the photo and is very beautiful. I’m a 25 waist, 120 pounds, I got the size 2. it fits beautifully, however, I am a little short for it. But, It’s manageable. If I had time to go to a tailor though, I would. if you’re 5’2” - 5’3” like me keep that in mind and order in advance!! I recommend the dress though, it’s gorgeous. (I haven’t taken pictures in this dress yet, my prom is this weekend. sorry the photos aren’t great.)

I got the Lilac Nyomi dress, and it’s beyond stunning! The corset back allowed me to adjust the fit perfectly. I was worried about it being too tight or too loose, but it fit just right. The beaded tulle fabric is really eye-catching, and the slit added a little bit of edge without being too much. The customer service team was so helpful with sizing advice. I felt like a total star wearing this!
