Customer service sent actual bust and waist measurements of the sample within the hour when I asked, plus a photo of the fabric held up to a window. That's more than most sellers do, and it saved me guessing between sizes.
Honestly the embroidery is the reason to buy it. Leaf and branch detailing is stitched, not printed, and it catches light without going full disco ball. Found two loose threads near the shoulder seam, nothing unraveling.
Petite warning: 5'1", ordered a size 8, and needed a good three inches off the length even in heels. Tailor said the chiffon was easy to work with and kept the original rolled hem. Budget around $40 for it.
Wore it as mother of the groom and it struck the right note, formal but not bridal, and the champagne tone photographed beautifully next to the ivory table linens. Got more compliments than I expected for the price.
Shipping was quicker than quoted, eight days to Denver, but it arrived folded in a bag too small for a skirt this long. Creases ran right across the chiffon. Steamer on low, fifteen minutes, and it looked untouched.
Size 10 fit 5'7" / 155 lbs with room through the hips, and the chiffon skirt hangs straight down instead of clinging. Bodice is fully lined, so no scratchy bits against the skin, that alone was worth it.
