Start with your measurements

Wear close-fitting undergarments and keep the tape level, without pulling it tight.

Measure height and Hollow to Floor barefoot. Start Hollow to Floor at the hollow at the base of your neck; enter heel height separately.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust while keeping the tape level across your back.

Tip: This is not your bra size. Wear the undergarments you plan to wear with the dress.

Waist

Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist. Keep the tape comfortably snug, not tight.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Hollow to floor

Measure from the hollow at the base of your neck straight down to the floor while standing barefoot.

Tip: Standard dress length includes extra room for heels. For custom sizing, include your planned heel height.

Back shoulder width

Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other across your back.

Sleeve length

Measure from the shoulder seam to the wrist with your arm relaxed at your side.

Arm circumference

Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm. Leave enough ease for comfortable movement.

How to measure for a formal dress

  1. Use a soft measuring tape and ask someone to help for the most accurate result.
  2. Stand straight with your arms relaxed and your feet together.
  3. Measure over lightweight clothing or the undergarments you plan to wear.
  4. Keep the tape level and close to the body without pulling tight.
  5. Write down bust, waist, hips, and hollow to floor before comparing with the size chart.

I��m happy I got this dress for my sisters wedding. Sorry I don��t have a perfect picture to show. It was comfortable and I was able to go bra free. With large breasts that was a blessing. I received numerous compliments on the dress all day. It was great and for a great price. When ordering I followed the measurement chart to decide what size to order. I did get a size 14 and at 5��7�� I had to have it hemmed only because I was wearing flat sandles. I would absolutely recommend this dress even for a wedding party due to its ability to fit various sizes. It also arrived quickly giving me time to have it altered.
