Back shoulder width

Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other across your back.

Sleeve length

Measure from the shoulder seam to the wrist with your arm relaxed at your side.

Arm circumference

Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm. Leave enough ease for comfortable movement.

How to measure for a formal dress

  1. Use a soft measuring tape and ask someone to help for the most accurate result.
  2. Stand straight with your arms relaxed and your feet together.
  3. Measure over lightweight clothing or the undergarments you plan to wear.
  4. Keep the tape level and close to the body without pulling tight.
  5. Write down bust, waist, hips, and hollow to floor before comparing with the size chart.

Exactly as described and pictured. My hips are size 10, and above the waist is size 8….so the size I ordered zips easily, but is a little large for me on top. A smaller size wouldn’t zip up. BUT, I purchased this for photography, and it can be pinned to fit for photos. If I were going to wear it to an event I could have it altered.

Cannot believe the quality for the price. It’s gorgeous. Stones are quality, not tacky or gaudy. Satin ribbon lace up on back with hook/eye bra type closure so you can customize the fit somewhat. Buy it!!!

I decided to go a size down because I'm wearing a corset. I don't suggest it if you're not. Just follow the size chart. I suggest wearing a petticoat as well to give the dress some volume. It's possible to put it on by yourself, just lace it up AFTER you put it on. However, it better to have someone else help you. Either way, the dress is cute.

I absolutely loved this dress for my wedding! The only thing that I didn’t like what the fact that I have a big chest & they don’t sit up without a bra… so I wish this would have helped them sit up better! Other than that it fit great & looked great for my wedding! Great price when on a budget! I bought the royal blue color & loved it!
