Back shoulder width

Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other across your back.

Sleeve length

Measure from the shoulder seam to the wrist with your arm relaxed at your side.

Arm circumference

Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm. Leave enough ease for comfortable movement.

How to measure for a formal dress

  1. Use a soft measuring tape and ask someone to help for the most accurate result.
  2. Stand straight with your arms relaxed and your feet together.
  3. Measure over lightweight clothing or the undergarments you plan to wear.
  4. Keep the tape level and close to the body without pulling tight.
  5. Write down bust, waist, hips, and hollow to floor before comparing with the size chart.
For bridal party orders, ask everyone to measure on the same day and use the same unit. This helps keep sizing decisions consistent across the group.

The material on this dress is fabulous. I was nervous it may be stiff or too thing but ultimately I was very impressed. I ordered custom measurements and I think I'll need to get it a bit tailored before my event due to some weight loss. I am beyond delighted with how it looks like in reality! just like the photos! customer service was extremely nice! Overall, I am really happy with the dress and can't wait to wear it!!
